Helping educate pastors for Christian communities

Helping educate pastors for Christian communities

Marlys and Robert Melius are committed to helping to form great leaders for Christian communities, so committed that they will fund an endowed scholarship at Luther Seminary through their estate plan.

Members of Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton, Minn., Marlys and Robert are active as leaders and as volunteers in ministries near and far, including work in Tanzania. They know the importance of a community of faith. They have been blessed by pastors who lead, inspire and encourage church members' growth in love and spirit. The scholarship is a way to carry their commitment beyond their own lifetimes.
